Ingredients
1/3 cup fig jam or fig preserves
4 whole grain ciabatta rolls
1 large tomato, sliced
1 1/2 cups arugula, washed and dried
1/3 cups bleu cheese crumbles
Step 1
Preheat a panini grill to medium-high heat.
TIP
TIP: If you do not have access to a panini grill, you can press the sandwich with a spatula on a heated grill pan, flipping once.
Step 2
Cook chicken strips according to package instructions.
Step 3
To assemble panini, spread fig jam/preserves on the bottom half of the ciabatta roll, layer grilled chicken strips on top, followed by arugula, bleu cheese crumbles and the top of the roll.
Step 4
Place sandwich on preheated panini grill and close for 4-6 minutes or until sandwich is pressed and grilled to your liking.
