Ingredients
1 package PERDUE® Fresh Chicken Wingettes
2 tbsp. Chinese Five Spice Powder
2 tbsp. salt
4 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup honey
Blue cheese, optional
Non-stick cooking spray
Step 1
Season
Season chicken wings with Chinese five spice powder and salt.
Step 2
Air Fry
Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees for 3 minutes then spray the basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place the wings in a single layer in the basket and spray with cooking spray. Set the timer for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the wings and spray the other side. Air fry 10 minutes longer or until wings are golden brown, and a meat thermometer reaches 180 degrees.
Step 3
Sauce
In a large non-stick skillet, over medium-high heat, heat the butter and honey. Toss the wings in the honey glaze to coat. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until wings are hot and sticky. Sprinkle with Chinese five spice seasoning. Serve remaining honey sauce on the side with blue cheese, of desired.
TIP
TIP: You can also try broiling your wings instead of frying. Broil for 10 to 15 minutes, drizzle with honey and pop back under broiler until bubbly and sticky, about 1 to 2 more minutes. Watch carefully as the honey can burn quickly.
