Ingredients
1 head of romaine lettuce, halved lengthwise
Avocado oil, for brushing
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup Caesar Dressing
1/4 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Step 1
Preheat a griddle over medium-high heat. Brush the cut side of the romaine lettuce halves with avocado oil. Place the romaine lettuce halves cut side down on the hot griddle or grill pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until char marks appear and the lettuce begins to char slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2
Once the romaine lettuce is charred, divide it between serving plates and add the chicken directly to the salad.
Step 3
Top each salad with the cherry tomatoes. Drizzle the Caesar dressing generously over the grilled romaine and chicken. Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese and black pepper if desired.
