Ingredients
2 tbsp. jerk seasoning
2 tbsp. ketchup
1 mango diced
1/3 cup red bell pepper, diced
3 tbsp. red onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp. jalapeno, seeded and diced
1 lime, juiced
1 tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
4 hamburger rolls
Step 1
Season
In a medium bowl, mix together the ground chicken, jerk seasoning and ketchup. Shape into 4 burgers and set aside.
Step 2
Mix
In a bowl, toss the mango, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeno, lime juice and cilantro. Chill the mango salsa until ready to use it.
Step 3
Grill
Heat a lightly greased grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for about 5 to 6 minutes per side. The burgers are done when they feel firm to the touch and a meat thermometer inserted in the center reaches 170°F.
Step 4
Assemble
Warm or lightly grill the hamburger rolls. Place a warm burger on each roll and top it with the mango salsa.
