Ingredients
2 cups shredded, cooked PERDUE® Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
8 Taco shells
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. oriental chili-garlic paste
1 small onion chopped
Taco fixings:
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomato
Sour cream
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Scotch bonnet, habanero or jalapeño peppers for garnish (optional)
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange taco shells on baking sheet and heat 5 to 7 minutes in oven.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in large, nonstick skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add chili-garlic paste and onion; sauté 2 to 3 minutes until onion is softened. Add chicken and stir well to blend. Cook about 2 minutes or until heated through.
Step 3
Spoon chicken mixture into heated taco shells; top with taco fixings, and garnish with hot peppers.
